| Our
call to mission is clear. We are women who are to preach the
good news of Jesus in season and out of season. We do this by
our lives and our works. As our founder wrote: "We were not
founded in God's church simply to nurse, that is an addition. We
were founded to extend the kingdom of God by making Mary reign
in the hearts and minds of all people".
Our task is to extend God's
kingdom through our direct and indirect evangelization.
Our spirituality calls us to mission, as does our
vocation to live our lives in union with Mary, the
Mother of Jesus, who was given the task of being Mother
of the church from the Cross. We, like her, embrace our
call to bring Christ to birth in the hearts and minds of
all, and in particular, those who are sick, suffering,
impoverished or betrayed by their own society and
culture.
