As I write this reflection, I contemplate the decisions and choices that I have made and the impact that this has made on my life. The decisions and choices that we make daily influence our seasons of life. If we don’t want to change, then we must stay the same. However, we cannot remain unchanged if we are constantly making new decisions and choices.
What we hope for, is a positive transformation during this change and that our caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly!
The seasons of life transformation supports and inspires our thoughts, values, and beliefs.
The Summer season brings happiness; Autumn brings pain; Winter brings self-reflection, and Spring brings learning. The length of time it takes us to progress through each season is simply a reflection of our state-of-mind; our ability to adapt to the conditions and circumstances we find ourselves in.
If we adapt successfully, we will move through difficult and unpleasant phases quickly. On the other hand, if we are unable to adapt, then we will miss opportunities that may be right in front of us.
The seasons of life are there to teach us lessons about ourselves and others. They are there to help us grow emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We can’t change the past; we can only learn from it. Note: “Seasons of Life” is a concept by Adam Sicinski; life coach, doodler, and visual thinker.
At the end of Venerable Mary Potter’s season of life, her last words were:
“Thank God always for the happiness and beauty of life – it is beautiful.”
I wonder how her decisions and choices impacted her seasons that shaped and strengthened her character?
How has your life changed and transformed over time?
What were your decisions and choices during those times?
Have they shaped and strengthened your character in a positive transformation?
Venerable Mary Potter, in my time of need, has welded strength for me to improve my state of mind so I can move through my seasons. My life is beautiful!
