A Reflection – Where is Jesus?

Where is Jesus?

The cry of a Mother’s heart as she seeks her son.

Where is Jesus is a cry of many mothers,

But it is silent.

The company of travellers seek him, but he is not to be found.

Mary and Joseph return to Jerusalem.

Where is Jesus is their quest.

Where is Jesus is our quest.

Sometimes he seems lost but…

A still small voice rises,

“I am with you”,

“I am within you.”

Where there is suffering Jesus is there.

Where there is vulnerability Jesus is there.

The Advent of waiting calls us to cry out again, where is Jesus?
