This is the day the Lord has made.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Fiefia, Fiefia, ma’u pe.
For it is the Lord.
In the early morning, the sun was shining, the Spirit was moving, there was a gentle breeze, it was a beautiful morning. The peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful environment, soft music of nature, sung the glory of God.
I am so grateful to God for the gifts of life, grateful for God calling me, to be an LCM and to be with Mary at the foot of the cross, daily in this journey.
This journey has not always been an easy one. It can be rough or difficult and I have wanted to turn back, but I could hear daily the gentle voice in the silence of my heart. At times when I was lost or in darkness, the voice was there again, “trust me and smile.” Then things seem to disappear or just go from my mind. And there is a saying here in Tonga, it is a Tonga gold, to say Thank You, or say Malo.
The mass was the highlight of the day. My non-Catholic friends said that the mass was beautiful, very solemn and the spirit was present in Joy. The response to the psalm was: “the Lord has done marvellous things for me.”
Thank you very much for all your prayers and support for the 50 years of my journey as an LCM, as one in the Heart of Mary.
